About us

Mahut Israel was established in 1989, in response to terrorist attacks on civilian population in Israel. The palpable need to train mental health workers to provide an immediate response to emergencies was the first order of the day. Since then, the scope and vision of Mahut has expanded. Today, with decades of experience, Mahut works with a wide range of clients both in Israel and abroad, in both the public and private sectors.

Over the years Mahut has focused on training in the following areas:

• Emergency response and readiness
• Community resilience
• Personal and staff resilience
• Coping with trauma and loss

Mahut's team, providing consultation, workshops, and advanced training in trauma and loss, includes very experienced experts: Mental health professionals, psychologists, social workers, organizational consultants and more. Our diverse base of professionals allows us to provide a tailored  response to our clients' needs - organizations, communities or individuals.
